The food is delicious...The service sets a standard that all restaurants should follow...The ultimate grilled cheese sandwich is wow ...The eggs benedict are scrumptious and the oj is very good. If you are lucky to get David as your server you are in good hands. Grab a donut on the way out and you will be in heaven all day.

Found this place watching "You Gotta Eat Here" they reccomended it was family friendly. Decided to take the kids for Valentine's Day. It was nice, quiet and cozy. Its like home cooked-comfort-food meals. It was nice for a change that I didnt have to make dinner so I could enjouy dinner with the family. Staff and employees were very friendly and it seemed like they were co-workers. Everyone helped each other out. The kids loved how there was a selection of ice-cream they could choose from, (like a mini ice cream parlour) not like other restaurants, like only having to choose between vanilla and chocolate. The place resembled 50's -60's diner. They had their own donut making machine. The place was nicely decorated and I loved how they had actually colouring pages from a colouring book for the kids. We had a great time overall.

Food is amazing, we were there super early, like right when they opened, so crowding wasn't an issue. Very small space so I could see it being very crowded or long wait times during busy weekends. Owner was there during our breakfast and learned that our family had come all the way from Brampton just for breakfast and he was very appreciative of our loyalty to them. Gave us free doughnuts at the end of our meal for travelling so far just to dine there for breakfast! (They are to die for, bigger versions of tiny toms, just so you have an idea) (Pictures of Stuffed French toast on Hawaiian style break and the BEST Eggs Benedict I have ever had! Sweet and savory, it was heavenly. Oh and shoestring fries make it even better, just the right amount of seasoning)

Had a delicious & beautiful milkshake from Uncle Betty’s today! I absolutely love a good milkshake and great service. We shared a cotton candy milkshake with whipped cream. I was also extremely happy to have found parking easily, given that it was rush hour during the week.They could do with some more flavours, as all their selections are distinct special flavours & not many “typical” or standard options (which is nice for those who like to play it safe.I’ll definitely be back in the summer !

Great breakfast with the boys. Donuts were delicious. I had the sweet potato hash with perfectly poached eggs on top.

It's a small friendly place. Good service, good food portion. Got their black raspberry thunder ice cream, 😍 I love that they add some small white chocolate chips in it. It's a place you need to try at least once.

Good food at a good price. When it's busy the back portion can get loud. Would recommend the fries, their shoestring fries and are very tasty.

The menu is fresh and new compared to most brunch spots with great little twists on classic favourites. The staff is quick. Super friendly, and make great conversation. We got the Benny and the breakfast dog, both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is awesome, and the donuts and ice cream are awesome as well.

This place is amazing. The brunch options are delicious (breakfast poutine, ultimate Mac and cheese). The donut ice cream sandwiches are a must!

Great food in a really cool little diner!

Benedict was ok. Pancakes were a hit. The Uncle Betty's Donut Ice Cream sandwich was so, so good. Service was also very friendly and the patio is perfect on a nice day

Super creative menu that was at first, intimidating. Eventually decided on their breakfast poutine which was super yummy! Portions were decent and the coffee was excellent. Menu was perhaps, a little expensiveService is excellent and fun! We love how the wait staff interact with us! The donuts are a cake style treat that resembles an old fashioned donut, but topped with decadence!

We love Uncle Betty’s Diner! They are actively working to improve service and it is truly better each visit. The food is always delicious. Some favourites include the stuffed French toast and the more basic breakfasts. Great pricing, and once seated, efficient and friendly service. They are working on a better greeting/seating system which is the only area needing improvement as you can wait a while even when there are empty tables and some of the staff don’t seem bothered by it.

It was disappointing. I have wanted to come here for quite some time and while the location was lovely and the service was friendly, the rest was subpar. I ordered the breakfast hash and specifically requested that my poached eggs be "easy" as I like them runny. The first order was covered in hollandaise not chives as per the menu. They sent out a 2nd order, no hollandaise yet no chives either. The sweet potatoes were undercooked and there was no flavor. I had coffee with my meal only everyone seemed to forget to see if I needed a refill, so I never got one. Maybe should have tried the french toast instead; sadly cannot recommend.

I simply like their food. I always get good service here. The place is clean and the staff members are always very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The server was REALLY nice and was happy to make recommendations on what to order and everything they offered.

Very casual classic dinner. Was there for breakfast on the weekend and had a great bene, my wide had the French toast and it was quite good.

Food's great even if it's a small selection, you kind of go for that one dish that you're craving. But it took us (6) 25 minutes to be seated with a couple and 2 groups of four getting seated ahead of us despite arriving after, ended up sitting at a table that had been empty the whole time. Utensils were dirty, had to follow up for basic condiments, didn't get a spoon with the coffees, etc. No apologies. Maybe it was just the day :(

Ordered the omelette of the day (caramelized onion, cheddar, mushroom) and breakfast sandwich. Both were fine- the only thing I found odd was the beef flavour in the omelette. Were the onions caramelized in beef product? For me, having given up red meat, it was a bit off-putting. I still give a solid 4 though.

I loved it. The best dish you can try there is their super delicious Meatloaf. Very warm atmosphere, nice and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Update Nov 13th: their Sunday brunch menu is a killer. See the photo

The grilled chicken sandwich (pesto) is a truly hidden gem on the menu. I have it every time I'm here and it always amazing. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

This spot clearly knows how to satisfy their clients. Always with a very welcoming approach. The food is conveniently priced, constantly flavorful and neat.

Let me begin that I'm usually not a breakfast type of girl because the menus usually boring but this one is amazing. I must say the service is really slow. I understand it is very busy but I think they could do better, that's why i take one star out.

The perfect place to let out your inner kid. Uncle Bettys Diner is popular for their “donut ice-cream sandwiches”. Yeah, we’re all suckers for a good gimmick but this dish actually works! Their donuts are fresh as well as fluffy, and really complement the different ice cream flavours they have. Aside from their delicious desserts and classic diner food, they also offer brunch, where they feature different types of foods you wouldn't normally find at a diner, like shakshouka. The waiter is attentive and very pleasant. I took his recommendation of meatloaf over pulled pork on my Ultimate Grilled Cheese and was not disappointed. Half the sandwich is coming home with me in a take away - it's a Monster!

Had a tasty pulled pork sandwich with what seemed like fresh cut fries. Tasty, good service, family friendly atmosphere. Worth a try to see why the place is always packed on weekends and overflowing onto the patio when the weather is nice.

The Delicious stuffed French toast has turned me into a forever fan

This is such a fun quaint neighbourhood spot with tonnes of charm, character, and a whole range of good stuff. Featured in the pic: My eggs Benedict, and the blueberry stuffed french toast. Mimosas are super generous and I believe came in at $9Enjoyable, unhurried vibe and there's an ice cream counter if you're feeling up for dessert! Staff are also just super happy to chat? On a Saturday you'll find lots of midtown singles, couples, and families enjoying this spot. Patio upfront is nice too!

Uncle Betty's Diner is a cute spot on Yonge street with tons of charm. You can sit outside during the warm weather. The brunch menu has lots of choices, traditional and new items to choose from. I tried the breakfast bowl, note there was very little cheese and there were mushrooms, (unfortunately not to my taste) which are not listed in the menu. The sweet potato hash brown breakfast had hollandaise sauce on top (also not listed), make sure you know what you are ordering!

This diner has amazing customer service. Everyone is really friendly, and the food is amazing. Must come here often.
